“Seraphim Falls” Will Shoot In New Mexico

Mel Gibson’s Icon Productions will shoot the feature film Seraphim Falls this fall - 2005 - in Santa Fe, Taos and locations in the southern part of NM, employing at least 100 New Mexicans. New Mexico beat out Canada for this project because of the state’s aggressive incentive package. Cast will include Liam Neeson & Pierce Brosnan. Neeson’s character, an American Civil War army colonel, pursues Brosnan’s character across the West to avenge his family’s death. Director: David Von Ancken. Bruce Davey, President of Mel Gibson’s Icon Productions, and David Flynn will be producing the project.
