“MASTER THE AUDITION” Acting: The business of Telling the Truth

In “Master the Audition” you will learn what it takes to have a winning Audition.
From getting your head on right to the actual skills necessary to insure your success.
In this workshop you will learn specifics in the art of auditioning for on and off camera:
• How to approach and prepare your material learning to make it your own.
• How to ‘own’ the space.
• What is expected and desired of you when you walk into the room.
• How to relate to the auditioners, the reader, and the camera or the absence of one.
• The cold copy technique as it applies to monologues and scenes at the audition and during your preparation.
The learning environment is one of positive reinforcement for what works. You will be challenged and encouraged to take risks and will learn how to recognize and capitalize on your strengths; while learning how to overcome your fears.
WORKSHOP DETAILS
DATES & TIMES: April 20th, 21st and 22nd
Friday 20th Registration: 5:10 p.m. to 5:50 p.m.
The Workshop: 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 pm.
Saturday 21st Sign in: 10:00 a.m. to 10:20 a.m.
Morning Session: 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Lunch break: 1.5 hours at 2:00 p.m.
Afternoon session: 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Sunday 22nd The same schedule as Saturday.
COST: $350.00 Method of payment and deposit required will be outlined in the Letter of Confirmation.
