SEUSSICAL the Musical comes to the UNM’s Rodey Theater for nine performances August 10 - 26.Your favorite Seuss characters spring from page to stage in this delightful musical for the whole family which interweaves Theodor Geisel’s most famous tales and characters in unexpected and wonderful ways. The talented local cast includes adults and children, Join the Cat in the Hat, Horton, Mayzie La Bird and the Whos, to name a few, as they travel from the Jungle of Nool to McElligot’s Pool, Whoville and Solla Sollew. The show is beautifully true to Dr. Seuss who believed in the power of imagination, the value and dignity of others, keeping a promise, working to preserve the fragile sweetness of the natural world and that peace is the ultimate ideal, among nations and in every heart.
