The Gimme Credit Screenplay Competition wascreated with the single purpose of producing one talented writer’s short script a nd giving exposure and development advice to as many writers as possible. All entrants will receive feedback on their script via email from at least one judge following the announcement of the winners.
Gimme Credit is a tri-annual competition. This cycle, we have introduced a
category entitled Super Shorts for scripts five pages and under. While we
have seen many brilliant scripts over twenty pages, we believe in brevity
and want to challenge writers to be succinct and concise in their storytelling.
In addition to other prizes, the top three scripts from this category will be in
consideration for Gimme Credit’s Grand Prize, the production of the winning script.
We accept screenplays of up to five pages in our Super Short category and
up to 30 pages in our Short category. All live-action genres encouraged!
