With this new production of The Garage Dialogues OmniRootz takes on the crazier than life story of that woman in Texas who hit a man and left him in her car windshield for three days in her garage. OmniRootz’s performance piece acts as a ceremony for the closing of Out ch’YondA and for creating the kind of neighborhood and community we want for our collective future. Featuring poetry and performances by a dizzying array of local poets, artists, performers and musicians, The Garage Dialogues will keep you laughing long after you leave the theatre. Out ch’Yonda Live Artz Cooperative exists in the margins for folks who need
and want to do art. “by any means necessary”. We create a nurturing and
creative environment for ourselves and others who dwell on the edges of our
society, where the real party is. Out ch’Yonda is home to Artists of Color,
QueerFolk and our Children. The cooperative provides us with opportunities to
gather together and share art as well as construct community that defies the
boundaries especially between those of us who only travel in limited circles.
