The Theater Salon is The place to create & serve a vibrant performance community in the Southwest while supporting collaboration in creative possibilities!

We Welcome all active performance creators: Actors, Directors, Performers, Techs, Teachers, Writers, Producers, Agents, Filmmakers, Audience……..

Started in the fall of 2003 in response to a dearth of theater activity and audition opportunities, the TTS newsletter was just a brief list of ‘what’s happening’ going out to less than a dozen people.  The list of subscribers grew rapidly by simple word of mouth.  As the newsletter grew and people started sending announcements to be posted and Kat Hanneck (my daughter) surprised me with a website that she created for TTS.   Within a year I changed over to an online service for the newsletter and the list continued to grow. 

Now with over 1770 subscirbers, regular advertisers and a new website The Theater Salon is the premier resource for news, connection, and possible collaborations in Theater in the Southwest.

Our Mission is to support a fomentation of live theater and other performance opportunites in the Southwest, USA.
